Yoga - starts Nov. 4
Refresh your body, mind and spirit. If you took yoga with Jackie
Godfrey, you will enjoy this session. This yoga class is for beginners
and continuing students. All are welcomed. Instruction is by Mitzi
Jobes.

Early Morning
Yoga - starts Nov. 6
Students will learn an energizing practice which includes deep
breathing, warm up stretch and flow, sun salutations, warrior and
balance poses, then deep stretching, concluding with relaxation
techniques, including guided meditation. Instruction is by Darlene
Gaskins, YogaFit Certified Instructor.

Beginning Hatha
Yoga - starts Nov. 6
In this class, students will learn the Sun Salutation sequence with
modifications and additions, then move into flowing postures with
emphasis on deep breathing. Participants will gain flexibility, stamina,
strength and balance. We will work on creating a toned, flexible and
strong body. Instruction is by Darlene Gaskins, YogaFit Certified
Instructor.

Power Yoga -
starts Nov. 6
If you are familiar with the basic yoga poses and want to increase your
strength, stamina and muscle tone you will love this class. It is yoga
with sweat, faster moving and more physical poses to bring your entire
body to an alive, vibrant state by activating every nook and cranny of
who you are; it ends with restorative stretches and guided meditation to
quiet the mind for sound sleep. Instruction is by Darlene Gaskins,
YogaFit Certified Instructor.

Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese
technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes
healing. It is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing
and self-improvement that everyone can use. It also works as a
complementary therapy with other medical or therapeutic techniques to
relieve side effects and promotes recovery. Opportunity to practice and
meet other practitioners is provided. Level I certification will be
earned by completion of course requirements. Instruction is by Bernie
Stacka, Reiki Master.
Times: 6-8 p.m., Wednesdays for 10 weeks
Begins: April 1, 2009
Early registration is encouraged; start-date walk-ins are welcomed.
Min/Max – 10/15 students
Fees: $55 residents/$60 non-residents

Reiki Practitioners
All levels of certified Reiki practitioners will meet 1-3 p.m. beginning
Sept. 13, 2008, in the park community room. Further meeting dates will
be announced during the first meeting. This will be an opportunity to
practice and refine Reiki techniques. The sessions are led by Kathy
Ferrell, Reiki Master. There is no fee.
