Shelters in Memorial Park

There are eight reservable shelters in Memorial Park. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may reserve a shelter at $10 per day. Please contact the Park Office early to ensure that the shelter of your choice will be available on the desired date. Reservations are posted in the shelter reservation box outside the park office.

Amax Shelter
	Amax Shelter is located on Herbert St., next to the bandstand, across from Oak Shelter. It is handicapped accessible, seats 80, has parking, plug-in electricity, a water fountain and a playground. It is a round shelter with a large grill in the center. The nearest restroom is across the street next to the basketball court.
Patton Shelter
	Patton Shelter is located on Herbert St., behind the park office and next to the park lagoon. It has plenty of shade, seats approximately 100, has parking, plug-in electricity, and a large grill. The nearest restroom is just across the rainbow bridge, next to the tennis courts.
Lions Shelter
	Lions Shelter is located near the corner of Raymond and Denison Sts., beside Gibbs Field. It has parking, is handicapped accessible, has a water fountain, large grill and seats 100. The nearest restroom is on Raymond St., behind Gibbs Field.
Pallister Shelter
	Pallister Shelter is shortly down the road from Patton Shelter, on Herbert St. It has parking, a water fountain, and seats approximately 80. It is within walking distance of the park lagoon. The nearest restrooms are next to the basketball court.
Maple Shelter
	Maple Shelter is just outside the Tot Lot and behind the Memorial Park Pool. Maple shelter is very popular with those having events with small children that may use the Tot Lot or for those in the summer who frequent the pool. The shelter has parking and seats approximately 80. The nearest restrooms are behind the pool and down the park path near the tennis courts.
Birch Shelter
	Birch Shelter is located right next to the lagoon, nearest Denison St., catty corner to the Tot Lot. It seats 50 and is preferred by those who enjoy fishing or playing in the Tot Lot. It is located next to its "twin", the Sycamore Shelter. The nearest restrooms are down the park path next to the tennis courts. It has parking past a small lawn area.
Sycamore Shelter
	Sycamore is located next to Birch Shelter, beside the lagoon, nearest Denison St. Like Birch, it also seats 50 and is frequented by those who fish and use the Tot Lot. The nearest restrooms are down the park path next to the tennis courts. It has parking past a small lawn area.
Kiwanis Shelter
	Kiwanis Shelter is located on Shaw St., behind Centerfield Ball diamond. It has parking and seats 50. It is frequented by those who play group games at Shaw St. Diamond. The nearest restroom is on the other side of Centerfield, down Shaw St.
